One of the larger stories in tax this year was the collective bargaining negotiations between the Government of Canada and PSAC’s Union of Taxation Employees — and a potential CRA strike. As of this moment, CRA employees have voted in favour to strike, and currently, there is no change to the May 1, 2023 tax deadline.
