Income Tax Preparation Courses

The company’s basic income tax preparation courses educate the public about the latest tax changes, and every facet of individual income tax preparation. No prior tax experience is necessary to enroll and take the tax course. Enroll and you’ll be on the way to freedom from the complexity of income tax regulations and the pursuit of a new career!

The curriculum is designed to cover the fundamentals of basic income tax preparation. During the ten-week tax course, instructors cover all schedules, credits and forms that can be filed with an individual tax return. Students apply their tax knowledge to prepare taxes both on paper and on a computer. There is no cost for the tax course; there may be a minimal charge for books.

September Tax Courses
Liberty’s basic tax course starts the week after Labor Day. The sessions are held twice a week for six weeks with flexible morning and evening courses.

October Tax Courses
There may be additional six-week basic courses offered in October.

November Tax Courses
Some offices will offer a six-week basic course in November.

January Tax Courses
In early January, Liberty Tax Services offers a Rapid Class. The Rapid Class is a week- long course; there are no tuition or book charges for this course.
